UPDATE: Police identify victim in Atascadero homicide

A woman found shot to death last night at a home in Atascadero has been identified.
Atascadero Police have identified her as is 52-year-old Colleen Maria Barga-Milbury.
Her body was found at her home on the 4300 block of Tranquilla Avenue.

Police investigating suspicious death in Atascadero

Atascadero Police are investigating what they say is the suspicious death of a female at a home on the 4300 block of Tranquilla Avenue.
Investigators were on the scene for several hours on Wednesday evening and blocked off three different streets in the area.
Police say no one is in custody at this time, but residents should not be concerned about an attacker on the loose in their neighborhood.

Atascadero house fire causes $80,000 worth of damages

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a house fire in Atascadero.
It happened in the 3600 block of Campbell Lane just after 3 p.m. Sunday.
The fire first started in the garden and quickly spread to the attic. It was contained within 20 minutes.
Officials say no one was in the home at the time, and there are no reports of injuries.
Officials estimate as much as $80,000 in damages.

Locals learn about police dogs at "K-9's in the Park"
