Construction on Curbaril Road on-ramp in Atascadero begins Sunday night

Construction on the Curbaril Road on-ramp off Highway 101 in Atascadero starts at 9 p.m. Sunday.
The ramp will be completely closed for four weeks.
It's part of the Atascadero Rehabilitation Project, which also includes re-paving an 11 mile stretch of Highway 101 from the Cuesta Grade to Traffic Way.
The project is 85% complete, and they expect it to be finished this fall.

Locals celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Bike Month in Atascadero

Cinco de Mayo is on Sunday, but local celebrations are already starting.
The Latino Outreach Council and Bike Council of Atascadero put on the Cycle de Mayo event Saturday.
The free event was held at the Atascadero Lake Park.
