Rescue crews responding to report of rider and horse over a cliff

Santa Barbara County Fire crews are responding to a report of a horse and its rider 100 feet down a cliff.

It happened around 4:20 on Friday afternoon at the Circle Bar B Guest Ranch on Refugio Road in Goleta.

Fire officials say the caller reporting the incident said both the horse and the rider appeared unconscious.
