Friday is Morro Bay City Attorney Rob Schultz's last day.
Earlier this week, the City Council met in a closed session and approved a separation agreement.
According to the agreement, Schultz will receive payment of his leave balances and nine-month's salary.
In exchange, he leaves his post, and he's signed an agreement that solves all disputes between him and the City.
The City hired Anne Russell as Interim City Attorney.

Morro Bay Police are looking for the person, or people, responsible for three burglaries throughout the city.
Police say someone broke into the Morro Bay Eagle's Lodge, the Shirt Shop on Front Street, and Lucia's Apothecary on the Embarcadero.
