Students and animals benefit at nursery fundraiser

Charity golf tournament for Make a Wish Foundation

Local golfers were out on the green Friday to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.
The charity golf tournament at the Monarch Dunes Golf Course in Nipomo raised money to help grant wishes of six local children.

Wildfire readiness exercise set for this weekend

This Saturday, May 18th, fire departments from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties will participate in a readiness exercise designed to simulate a wildfire burning on the Nipomo Mesa west of Highway 101 between Los Berros Road and Willow Road.
