New addition to the Paso Robles Festival of the Arts

A sand sculpture at the Paso Robles Arts Festival has heads turning.
The Festival of the Arts happens every Memorial Day weekend.

The City of Paso Robles is turning to the community for input on the process of finding a new permanent police chief.

Boat accident at Nacimiento Lake prompts helicopter rescue

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office said two people had to be rescued late Tuesday night after a boating accident on Nacimiento Lake.
One person was air lifted to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, while another person was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
Investigators are still trying to figure just how the crash happened and how many people were involved.
