The community is invited to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings Monday night.
The community is invited to bring a candle and pray for the victims at a candlelight vigil at the San Luis Obispo Mission steps in Mission Plaza.
It's happening at 7:30 p.m. and is co-sponsored by the People of Faith for Justice and the San Luis Obispo Ministerial Association.

The California Highway Patrol is at the scene of an accident involving a CHP vehicle in Nipomo.
It happened on the southbound 101 freeway near the Tefft Street off-ramp.
The accident is causing major traffic in the area.
A separate accident happened nearby on the northbound side of the freeway.
No additional information is known at this time.

A local group of world-class vocalists is putting on several concerts this weekend here on the Central Coast.
The San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble is celebrating 35 years of music, with performances at Cellar 360 in Paso Robles and at two area churches, one in SLO and one in Cambria.

The California Highway Patrol has identified the person killed in a crash near Santa Margarita last week.
The accident happened April 11 around 11:30 p.m. on Highway 101 South, just north of Highway 58 in the Santa Margarita area.
