Some local business and community leaders proved they're pretty good sports today.
It was part of the Muscular Dystrophy Association's "MDA Lock-Up" at Pappy McGregor's Bar & Grill in San Luis Obispo.
The only way for the jailbirds to get out is by collecting enough donations to pay the "bail".
KSBY's own Kathy Kuretich joined in on the fundraiser.
The goal was to raise $30,000 to send kids to a Musclar Dystrophy camp this summer.

If you're driving in San Luis Obispo this summer, you might want to watch out for some road work.
The city says beginning this week, several projects are scheduled to take place along California Boulevard.
The projects will take place from the Cal Poly entrance to Palm Street.
The construction will include additions to the Railroad Safety Trail and street reconstruction and resurfacing projects.

Ballots for the San Luis Obispo City Council special election are due Tuesday. It's too late to mail back the ballot, but you can turn it into the City Hall on Palm Street by 8 p.m. A drive up drop box will be in front of City Hall on Mill Street.

Some ancient and sacred Buddhist relics were on display in San Luis Obispo this weekend.
This was just one stop of many for the exhibit that is currently on a world tour.
It has relics from the Buddha and other great Buddhist masters from India, Tibet, Korea and China.

San Luis Obispo City Fire Department crews responded to a house fire on Saturday.
They say the kitchen of a home on Kentucky Avenue caught fire when an oven mitt caught fire.
The elderly woman who lives in the home suffered minor smoke inhalation trying to put out the flames before fire crews arrived.
Damage is estimated at $3,000. Fire officials say the home did not have working smoke detectors. They installed some before leaving the scene.

The San Luis Coastal Unified School District has announced plans to cut bus transportation to its high schools.
District leaders say they had to cut $4.2 million from the budget.
