22 DUI arrests in Santa Barbara County

The Memorial Day weekend DUI enforcement effort has already resulted in 22 DUI arrests.
It's all part of the "Avoid the 12" campaign in Santa Barbara County.
From Friday through midnight Saturday, Santa Barbara officers arrested 22 people for driving under the influence.
CHP throughout the state are also patrolling freeways and county roads this holiday weekend.

Flight Check jet conducts tests over Santa Maria, Nipomo

Nipomo and Santa Maria residents may have seen a low-flying jet circling the area in the last couple days.
A Santa Maria Airport spokesperson says it's an FAA Flight Check plane. The airport had to relocate some of its navigational aids so the Flight Check Plane takes off and lands from different angles to make sure everything is working properly.
Friday will be the last testing day.
