A newborn giraffe calf went on display Tuesday at the Santa Barbara Zoo.
Dane was born five days ago. He measured 6'3" tall and weighed 156 pounds on Friday.
Zoo officials say it's not guaranteed that Dane will be on display every day over the next few weeks. The decision will be made daily depending on his needs.
Another female giraffe at the Zoo is also pregnant and could give birth any day.
