Two of the people convicted of the murder of 15-year old Dystiny Myers will be sentenced on Wednesday.
Rhonda Wisto and her son, Frank York, were convicted in March of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping, and torture.

Santa Maria Police arrested a man Monday morning after they say he led officers on a short chase.
Police say Juan Martinez, 24, of Santa Maria, was driving a stolen car when officers spotted him just before 11:00 am.
They say Martinez drove off, but abandoned the car after a short distance and ran off. Officers were able to catch up with him and arrest him.
Martinez faces charges of evading police, driving a stolen vehicle, and drug possession.

The checkpoints started at 1 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m.
