Ventura County Fire Department officials say the Springs Fire is now 90% contained.
Since Thursday the fire has burned 28,000 acres from Camarillo to the Pacific.
Firefighters continue to put out hot spots and flare-ups.
There are more than 400 firefighters still on scene. The extra crews and resources from out of the county are being sent home.
No homes were damaged or destroyed. Eight firefighters suffered minor injuries.

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) - Fire officials in Southern California expect full containment sometime today of a huge wildfire that burned through coastal mountains.
Over the weekend, firefighters were able to build containment lines around the 44-square-mile fire at the western end of the Santa Monica Mountains.
