        Santa Barbara County had light scattered showers overnight but the system was not promising. The areas with the most rainfall were Santa Maria and Casmalia, producing .04’’ of rain.

        Highs clouds started streaming thru the Central Coast today as the ridge of high pressure is providing offshore surface winds but upper levels winds are still onshore.  The so-called "dirty ridge" is not the type of pattern that produced rain. Now the ridge is pretty flat so a series of cold fronts will slide by us to the north.  Models have struggled with the feature at times suggesting lighter showers were possible for Tuesday but I still think we don't get much...
