Oceano man arrested after knife fight

One man is behind bars after police say he stabbed another man and fled the scene.
It happened just before 8:30 p.m. Friday.
According to the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Office, they received several calls about two men fighting in the 2300 block of Ocean Street in Oceano.

Body of young whale buried in Oceano Dunes

A week ago, a young humpback whale washed ashore in Guadalupe. Park rangers in Oceano say the whale is the same one found Tuesday on the beach at the Oceano Dunes.
The whale washed back out to sea last Thursday and the strong currents pushed her back onto the beach in Oceano.
