Lompoc baseball falls in 10 innings in CIF semifinals

A run-scoring single in the bottom of the tenth inning by shortstop Mylz Jones knocked out the Lompoc High baseball team from the CIF title hunt on Tuesday. The Braves fell 3-2 in 10 innings at Paraclete, the top seed in Division 5.

Dunn baseball advances to second-straight CIF semifinal

The Earwigs are in the CIF semifinals for the second year in a row. The Dunn baseball team scored four runs in the sixth inning to win on the road at Santa Clarita Christian 4-1 on Friday.

Dunn tallied 5 hits in the game and took advantage of a key SCC error in the pivotal sixth inning rally.

Dunn hosts top seeded and 18-3 Hillcrest Christian in the Division 7 semifinals next Tuesday. Dunn beat Hillcrest 6-1 in the quarterfinals last season.

Braves erupt late, advance to CIF semifinals with 8-1 win

Behind a seven-run seventh inning, the Lompoc High baseball team advanced into the CIF Division 5 semifinals with an 8-1 win at Village Christian on Friday.

Cuzick leads Nipomo softball into CIF semifinals
