A house fire Wednesday displaced two people in Oceano.
The Red Cross is assisting the woman and child who live at the home on the 300 block of McCarthy Avenue.
Officials with Five Cities Fire Authority say firefighters had to pull down walls and ceilings due to hots spots from the fire.

The fire broke out around noon at Clark Avenue and Dominion Road. It burned a total of 7.7 acres. The cause is under investigation. • Video (1)

Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews are on the scene of a grass fire at Clark Avenue and Dominion Road southeast of Santa Maria.
Fire officials say crews arrived to find up to 1 1/2 acres of brush on fire. The flames were being pushed by a southeast wind.
Firefighters say there are some ranch homes in the general area of the fire.
The cause is under investigation.

CAL FIRE says the fire burning off Toro Creek Road is still at 75 acres and 50% containment.
12 homes were evacuated because of the fire, but none of them have been damaged.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire broke out shortly after 10 a.m. Friday off Highway 41, about halfway between Atascadero and Morro Bay.
The spread of the fire was stopped Friday afternoon.

CAL FIRE is responding to a fire in the Pozo area.
Firefighters received reports that there was a fire on the Navajo Flats motorcycle staging area. They say the fire has burned about two acres.
The United States Forest Service is also responding.
Crews are still headed to the scene because the fire started in a remote area.

CAL FIRE says a wildfire burning off of Highway 41 and Toro Creek Road between Morro Bay and Atascadero has grown to 60 acres. It is 15% contained.
Twelve homes in the area have been evacuated.
The fire started at about 10:30 am on Friday.
Highway 41 remains open to traffic at this time; however, Toro Creek Road is closed.
