Posted 9:55 AM 5/28/2013 by KSBY News

This isn't the first time the area where the "White Fire" is burning has burned.

In late June of 2007, the Rancho Fire broke out in the same area, five miles north of Santa Barbara near Paradise Road.

482 acres burned in that fire, less than half of what has already burned in the White Fire.

No structures were damaged and there were no injuries.

It took four days to put the fire out.
