    A local soldier has returned home, just in time for Christmas.

    Specialist Warren Pittenger, 23, landed late Friday afternoon at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport. He returned from Iraq where he has been since May 30.

    A wounded warrior was welcomed home Tuesday night in San Luis Obispo with a special reaction from friends, family and strangers.
