Legend in the Making: Kristina Santiago returns home as champion

Kristina Santiago accomplished everything but winning a championship as a basketball player on the Central Coast. In her first season as a pro, Santiago won two titles. The former Righetti Warrior and Cal Poly Mustang had a great season with the Dunav Blue Fairies of the Bulgarian League.

Legend in the Making: Templeton lead-off hitter Michael Frigon

The job of a lead-off man in baseball is to get on, nobody on the Central Coast does that better than Templeton's Michael Frigon. The senior is batting .536 and has an on-base percentage of .624. 82 year old Bill Cotnam is San Luis Obispo High School's biggest fan and has been for some time. Cotnam doesn't just support the varsity athletes, he goes to freshman and junior varsity games as well. His support for the school earned him the nickname, "Tiger Bill" in the early 1990's.

Jacobs motivated by half inch
