  • CENTRAL COAST HOLIDAY PARADE INFORMATION:
    • SANTA BARBARA COUNTY
      • FRIDAY
        • Lompoc's Annual Children's Holiday Parade starts at 6 p.m. south on "H" Street, turning west on Ocean Avenue and south to "I" Streets. This year's theme is "Christmas Around the World."
        • Santa Barbara's 57th Annual Downtown Holiday Parade starts at 6:30. More than 50,000 spectators are expected to line downtown streets. This year's theme is "Unwrap the Magic."
      • SATURDAY
        • Solvang's Julefest Parade starts at 11 a.m. It begins at Mission Santa Ines, travels west on Mission Dr., turns left on 4th St., turns left on Copenhagen Dr. and concludes at the Solvang Post Office on Alisal Rd.
        • Santa Maria's 15th Annual Christmas Parade of Lights starts at 5:20 p.m. on Broadway between Stowell and the Town Center Mall. Folks are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Salvation Army.
    • SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY
      • FRIDAY
        • The Downtown San Luis Obispo parade kicks off at 7 p.m. This year's 34th Annual Parade is themed "Cheers.. Around Downtown." More than 100 entries will parade down Chorro, Monterey and Higuera Streets.
      • SATURDAY
        • Grover Beach holds the only daytime parade in the county beginning at 10 a.m. This year the 43rd Annual parade is themed "A Look Back: 1950s Revisited." It begins at 16th Street and finishes at the Ramona Garden Park Center.
        • Morro Bay's Lighted Boat Parade starts at 6:30. Local boats of all sizes, decorated with lights for the holiday season, will cruise the harbor.
        • And the 48th Annual Paso Robles Downtown Christmas Light Parade starts at 7 p.m. The 2009 theme is "It's Christmas Time In Our City."
