A Grover Beach man remains behind bars after hiding in a cardboard box in his ex-wife's Oceano home.
Manuel Hernandez Heredia sent text messages to his ex-wife with information only someone who had been inside her home would know.
Hernandez was initially suspected to be hiding in the attic, but San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Deputies found him during a second search Tuesday morning in a closet, hiding in a box used for laundry.
The 36-year-old man was on probation for a previous domestic violence case in Santa Barbara County.
A woman living at the residence confirmed to KSBY News it was her ex-husband who was inside of her home this morning.
He was booked into the County Jail for violating four restraining orders against three people, burglary and possession of burglary tools.
He remains in jail with a bail of $50,000.
