VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a school bus carrying 40 children has been involved in an accident that has injured 10 children and left the school bus on its side in Victorville.
California Highway Patrol Officer B. Robinson says the accident was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday, and none of the injuries appear to be serious at this time.
Robinson says the most serious injury appears to be a laceration to the head. That injured child and several others were transported to a local hospital.
The accident happened after a U-Haul truck collided with the school bus.
Robinson says investigators at the scene are still trying to figure out what happened.
