Cal Fire crews say an 11-year-old boy is now safe after they rescued him off the cliffs in Pismo Beach.
It happened at the corner of Pier Ave. and Ocean Blvd. around 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
They say the boy got stuck while climbing about 15 ft. down.
His parents called Cal Fire, who was able to bring the boy to safety, by lowering him down to the beach using a harness.
Cal Fire says there is some shale in the area, making the cliffs unstable.
