An 11 year-old girl is doing her part to find a cure for cancer.
After losing her grandmother to cancer, 6th grader, Emily Flachman decided to create a non-profit organization called, Kids 4 Kures.
The organization sells cards illustrated by cancer survivors.
Flachman says, "Since a lot of my friends have been diagnosed with cancer I decided to raise mooney for that because I really am hoping they can find a rally good cure for that."
Today Flachman made a $2,000 donation to the Hearst Cancer Research Center at French Hospital.
She hopes to raise more than $5,000 dollars this year.
