Santa Maria Police are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian accident that killed a 15-year-old girl Saturday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Miller and Newlove Streets.
Officials say a 15-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother were crossing Miller Street on an unmarked crosswalk.
21-year-old Kelsi Sullivan was driving northbound on Miller when she allegedly struck the 15-year-old girl.
The 15-year-old was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
The 13-year-old was not injured.
Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
