Nineteen people were arrested after a probation and parole compliance operation in northern San Luis Obispo County.
The San Luis Obispo County Probation Department partnered with multiple local law enforcement agencies and Homeland Security for the operation, which took place Tuesday evening.
Officials say 61 people on probation and parole were contacted in Paso Robles, Atascadero, and areas of Templeton and San Miguel, and 19 people were arrested for various reasons.
Various weapons, drugs, and drug paraphernalia were confiscated, and child protective services was called out to one location where officials say children were exposed to drugs.
Officials say there is also possible evidence of gang indicia and narcotic sales.
Everyone arrested was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail or Juvenile Hall.
