2 Army enlistees to stand trial in woman's death

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Two Army enlistees will stand trial on charges that they murdered a former servicewoman in San Bernardino County.
A judge in Victorville ruled Monday that there's enough evidence to try Melvin Satcher of Barstow and Phillip Franke of Las Vegas.
They'll enter pleas next month.
They're accused of murdering 29-year-old Sandi Lee Duncan of Barstow last September and dumping her body on a street in Apple Valley. Authorities haven't disclosed a motive for the killing.
Duncan was medically discharged from the Army after being
injured while on duty.
Satcher and Duncan had been stationed at Fort Irwin Military Reservation and attended Barstow Community College.
Officials have said Franke had also been in the Army, but his military status was not immediately known.
