IRVINE, Calif. (AP) - Police in Orange County say they have no motive for a shooting that killed a college basketball coach and her fiance, whose bodies were found in a parked car.
Irvine police say someone reported seeing a man slumped over the wheel Sunday night on the top floor of a parking structure at a pricey condominium complex.
The victims are identified as 27-year-old Keith Lawrence and 28-year-old Monica Quan.
Officials say both had played basketball at Concordia University in Irvine, and Quan was in her second year as assistant coach for the women's basketball team at California State University, Fullerton.
Police say there's no sign of a robbery and no arrests have been made.
The shooting shocked residents in Irvine, which is considered one of the safest cities in the nation.
