The Santa Maria boys overcame a five point halftime deficit to win at Nipomo 70-54 on Monday in a Los Padres League basketball game.
The Saints are now 6-2 in LPL action, while the Titans fell to 1-8.
The Titans took a 39-34 lead into halftime after they outscored the Saints 25-17 in the second quarter. The Saints outscored Nipomo 22-2 in the third quarter to take the led for good.
Shemarr Parker led the Saints with 15 points. He made 6 of his 8 shots from the field. Troylan Bolden added 11 and Marquis Parker scored 9 for Santa Maria, which rebounded from a loss to Templeton on Friday.
Kaileb Mendez once again led the Titans offense. He scored 24 points and had 4 steals. Freddy Ruiz added 10 points for Nipomo.
The Titans snapped a 17 game losing streak and captured their first LPL win of the season last Friday with a 46-40 victory over Santa Ynez.
The Saints host first place and undefeated Cabrillo on Wednesday at 6:30 pm in a huge league showdown. They lost at Cabrillo 65-64 on two last second free throws earlier this season.
The Titans travel to Lompoc on Friday.
