Authorities say 24 people have been found packed into a small motor boat in the ocean off the San Diego County coast.

Coast Guard Petty Officer Allyson Conroy says the three females

and 21 males were spotted 35 miles off Point Loma at about 4 a.m. Saturday.

All are suspected of being undocumented migrants. Conroy did not

know their nationalities.

They were brought onboard a Coast Guard cutter and brought to

San Diego, where they were turned over to the Border Patrol.

No injuries were reported.
