2nd District race centers around the budget

The race for Santa Barbara County's 2nd district Supervisor is a rematch from the 2006 election. It pits Dr. Dan Secord against current county supervisor and chair Janet Wolf.
Most of the debate has focused on how the county has handled its 40 million dollar budget deficit. Wolf says they have been able to balance the budget every year since she took office, but Secord argues for more fiscal responsibility.
