FONTANA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a third person has died following a crash at an intersection in San Bernardino County.
The Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/17dlBMl) reports a 33-year-old woman died at a hospital shortly after the collision Monday night in Fontana.
A 2-year-old girl and 33-year-old man were also killed. Three others were injured.
Fontana police Lt. William Megenney tells the newspaper a speeding vehicle "blew the red light" at about 8:30 p.m. and caused a three-car wreck.
Pictures from the scene near Interstate 10 some 50 miles east of Los Angeles show a badly smashed red SUV and blue pickup and a third wrecked vehicle that was unrecognizable.
The coroner's department says the identities of the victims will be released pending notification of next of kin.
