FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Fresno police say four men were shot and wounded outside an apartment complex.
Police responded to the shooting around 9 p.m. Thursday. Lt. Herman Silva tells the Fresno Bee the victims were all shot at least once in their lower extremities. Three of them were OK, but the fourth had substantial bleeding.
They were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police believe the victims were standing on the sidewalk when one or more suspects walked up and opened fire. Two different guns were used in the attack.
Silva says the victims have provided little information, and there were no witnesses. Police did locate an armed man in the area, though Silva says the caliber of his gun did not match those of the weapons used in the attack.
