San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl defensive end Justin Smith appears to be on track to play Saturday in the NFC Divisional playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.

The 33 year old was listed as probable on the team's official injury report that came out on Friday. The four-time Pro Bowl selection partially tore his left triceps against the New England Patriots on December 16 and has not played since then. Smith has 66 tackles and 3 sacks this season.

He likely needs surgery in the offseason, but will give it a go in the postseason. Smith had made 185 consecutive starts until he missed the December 23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Ricky Jean Francois started the last two regular season games in his place.

Kickoff in San Francisco is at 5pm on Saturday.
