SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Police say five people are in custody in connection with the death of a man who was one of two people found bound and gagged on a San Francisco street.
San Francisco police say 32-year-old Maelene Lintz, of San Francisco, and 21-year-old Montrail Brackens, of Oakland, were arrested at a home in Hercules Tuesday morning. Both were being held on suspicion of homicide.
Also arrested at the home were 19-year-old Tyler Miller and 24-year-old Heather Leach, both of Hercules, and 22-year-old Maryann Manalastas of Oakland. They were being held on suspicion of accessory to murder.
The arrests come after 26-year-old Stephen Reid and an 18-year-old woman were found tied up and gagged on a street in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood late Sunday.
Reid died after being taken to a hospital. The woman, who has not been named, is expected to survive her injuries
