LAS VEGAS (AP) - A manhunt is in its fifth day for the prime suspect in a Las Vegas Strip shooting and fiery crash that left three dead last week.

Las Vegas police Lt. Ray Steiber (STY'-ber) says police aren't saying much about the search for 26-year-old Ammar Harris because they don't want Harris to know what they know.

Steiber says an ex-convict facing triple homicide charges can see the news, too.

Police say they're certain Harris fired fatal shots from his Range Rover into a Maserati before dawn Thursday.

The gunfire killed an aspiring rapper and caused a six-vehicle crash that killed two people when a taxi exploded into flames.

Records show that Harris used to live in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
