The Christmas Day storm still managed to squeeze a few showers out on Wednesday but Thursday we will get a break from the skies.

Early clouds/fog in interior valleys will slowly clear and some patchy coastal valley fog is possible as well however most of the day should feature partly cloudy skies.

Highs will only reach the mid-50s and low 60s.

Thursday night will be quite cold with lows in the 30s, even near the coast.

Friday we will see some sun before clouds increase in the PM and rain becoming likely late overnight into Saturday. Friday's highs will likely be in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Saturday will see clouds and showers, .10-.30" of additional rain. The bulk of the activity should wane Saturday PM but a few Sunday AM showers are possible.

The first week of the New Year will be dry and computer models suggest the second week may be as well.
