Saturday is a transition day to a warmer forecast as low pressure slowly pulls out, a few showers in the hills between SLO and Kern county is possible Saturday afternoon but for the most part I expect partly cloudy and breezy conditions for most. Afternoon winds from the NW of 15-25 will make the 60 to 65 degree highs feel a little cooler.
Winds turn weakly offshore for Sunday-Monday and a little stronger offshore Tuesday and Wednesday for temperatures to warm day by day peaking in the upper 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The jet stream pattern will support the warm-up as a trough will settle in to our west and a ridge over the coast. High pressure at the surface will be offshore in the night and morning hours with afternoon onshore return.
