Warm temperatures will continue through Monday as a ridge of high pressure builds and a weak offshore flow develops. Gusty north winds are expected through Monday morning in the mountain regions. A low pressure system to the north will increase the onshore flow on Tuesday. This will continue through the week, bringing cooler temperatures and an increase in night and morning low clouds and fog. This cool weather and mostly cloudy skies will likely continue into next weekend. The National Weather Service issued a statement saying that winds up to 35 knots can be expected throughout portions of Santa Barbara tonight. These winds may continue through Thursday, spreading to other portions of the Central Coast and may increase in strength of up to 40 knots.
