It's a farewell to the King of the Wild Frontier.
A memorial tribute will be held for Fess Parker at 2:00p.m. Friday in the rotunda at Parker's own DoubleTree Resort in Santa Barbara.
Parker was known for playing TV's Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone. After his years in movies and television, he bought over 300 acres of vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley and began producing award winning wines of all varieties.
Parker died on March 18. He was 85-years-old.
The Parker family asks that donations be made to Direct Relief International in lieu of flowers.
