Monsoonal moisture from the southeast could result in a muggy day for us here on the Central Coast. Morning clouds should dissipate by late morning for sunshine along the coastal valleys and beaches. Interior valleys will remain mostly clear.
Los Angeles and Ventura Counties have had isolated showers and thunderstorms overnight and have the potential for more throughout the day.
It will be another hot one, inland... where it has the potential for another triple digit day. Coastal valleys will remain mild in the low to upper 70's and the beaches will top out in the upper 60's.
Cooler air moves into the region by Saturday, and the cooling trend continues through Monday. We'll get a 15 degree temperature drop for the interior valleys, but the coast and beach mercury should only go down a couple degrees.
Have a great day!
