The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office says a 30 foot long boat was found at six Wednesday morning on the shore south of Refugio Beach.

The sheriff's office says there was evidence the boat had been used to smuggle illicit drugs. Panga boats are often used to transport illegal immigrants and narcotics from Mexico to the United States.
