A Santa Maria man is recovering after an attempted murder

Santa Maria Police say a 20 year-old local man is expected to recover at Marian Medical Center after being shot at early this morning in an attempted murder.

They say it happened near the intersection of Fesler and Railroad. The injuries did not appear life threatening.

Police are calling it gang related. So far, they have no suspects.
