Wind Advisory in effect until 5 am Tuesday, it is somewhat rare to see an advisory posted for 5 consecutive days of anticipated high winds.
Northwest to north 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph will develop this afternoon then strengthen to 20 to 30 mph with gusts between 40 and 50 mph tonight with the
winds continuing through Monday night. The strongest winds will occur below passes and canyons and near the Montecito hills.
The winds being this strong can create hazardous driving conditions with dangerous cross winds.
