Abel Maldonado's wife and son involved in deadly Santa Maria accident

Abel Maldonado's wife Laura and son were involved in a deadly car collision we told you about on our news at 5 and 6. A 31-year-old man died in the crash that happened around 4 this afternoon.

The congressional candidate issued a statement sending the families deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of the victim. Maldonado said there are no words that can lift the burden of grief and sorrow the victim' family and friends are experiencing right now.
