Accident near Buellton sends four people to the hospital, including two children

A car accident near Buellton sends four people to the hospital, including two children.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday on Highway 101 near the Santa Rosa exit.
The two cars were traveling in opposite directions when they attempted to make turns across traffic, but hit eachother instead.
Santa Barbara County firefighters say people from both cars were sent to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
One person was transported by helicopter.
