An accident on the Harris Grade, near Santa Maria, stops traffic during the Thursday morning commute hours.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says two vehicles crashed about two and a half miles up from the Santa Maria area, just after 6:00 a.m. The fire department says one person had to be extricated, and a total of four people suffered minor to moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that blocked all lanes for about forty minutes.
