Accident sends two people to hospital along Highway 101

A three car accident sends two people to the hospital with major injuries. The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened just after 12:30 Wednesday afternoon near the Dos Pueblos Road off ramp.

A vehicle was heading southbound on Highway 101 when it rear ended another vehicle and shot across the center divider. It crashed head on into a black Toyota.

Officers diverted traffic around the accident.
