Active shooter training drill scheduled at San Luis Obispo High School

Police and firefighters will be at San Luis Obispo High School for an active shooter drill Wednesday.

Teachers, staff, and law enforcement will practice what to do if a gunman were to get on campus.

Officers will use simulated explosives and gunfire, and the fire alarm will run for 15 minutes.

The training will happen between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Police are asking people in the area not to call about the drill since it's not a real emergency.
