Actor John Hawkes wins King Vidor Award at San Luis Obispo International Film Festival

San Luis Obispo International Film Festival King Vidor Award

The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival wraps up Sunday, and on Saturday, organizers announced the winner of the 19th Annual King Vidor Award.

The award was given to actor John Hawkes. Hawkes was praised for his diverse movie career, featuring everything from independent dramas to comedies.

Most recently, he worked on "The Sessions" and "Lincoln."

KSBY'S Dan Shadwell was also at the award ceremony. He was the M.C. for the night.
